A FREE online training starts in May 2021 for up to ten women farmers who are starting or expanding value-added businesses. The Farm2Food Accelerator empowers Florida’s women farmers, ranchers, producers, growers, fisherwomen, beekeepers, and other related agriculturalists. This program provides practical tools and knowledge to increase participants’ income stability and resilience.

It provides a unique opportunity to:

  • Connect with a community of women farmers and local experts;
  • Learn how to launch a food or beverage product;
  • Participate in live one-hour weekly discussions with guest speakers;
  • Gain new skill sets related to packaging, pitching to buyers, and more.

Visit the Farm2Food Accelerator website to learn more, fill out an application, or register for an info session. The info sessions will take place on February 17, 2021, and April 14, 2021.

Working Food, the UF Innovation Hub, the NASDA Foundation, and Union Kitchen are developing the program, and the U.S. Economic Development Administration is sponsoring it.
